Changing Bird Songs - the Savannah Sparrow
Henry sent me an interesting link this morning. Science Daily has an interesting article in how bird songs have changed over the last 30 years. I would have thought that bird songs would remain constant over time, but instead a study showed that savannah sparrows songs changed much like human dialects change over time.
Interesting.

In the News: A 12 Year Old's Science Projecgt
12 Year Old's Science Project sounds very promising for new technology for generating power from solar cells. I sure hope he is successful. Plus I applaud his parents and his teachers for what they have provided that has given him the skills and motivation to do this kind of research. I hop there are a lot more like him out there growing up to be our future research scientists.
